I love the idea of having a women's lunch -- John, a co-ed one would be great too but I have a special spot for gathering with women.  Unfortunately I'm way up in NH so can't make it.  I will toast you virtually if you gather.

Looking forward to meeting up with you all at the Fish'in Hole restaurant on Wednesday at 11:00. I'll be the old guy with some grey hair along with some shine. Phil

To Wayne Cofer.  Since you seem to be in contact with Russ Faiferlick, could you get his current information and message it to me?  Last I heard, Russ was in Mexico.

Nancy,

I do not yet have Russ Faiferlicks new address in FT.Myers.  I sent him a text asking for it.

I do know he moved from Mexico to Estero, Florida a couple of years ago and then recently

had the house built in FT. Myers.

Nancy,

Turns out Russ Faiferlick stayed within the city limits of Estero with the new house he had built ( next to FT.Myers, Florida.)

OK all yous '68 Quackers, not to be outdone by a Feast in Renton, there's the Fishing Hole in Monty-Insano.... I mean uh... Montesano. Jeez, what was in that coffee??? Anywise I had the extinct pleasure of brunching with Phil Anderson, Ric Rivera, and the guy yous guys call the other John, Sheriff McLeod of Hoodwink notoriety. Or, am I the 'other'? I can't remember, I'm old.... Hope all's well with all, peace, out...

I don't know about the others, but I had a great time.  Three fast paced hours of what happened to ????? have you seen, I can't believe that, they've been married how many times???? and just a lot of fun catching up.

Mr. Hein referred to the coffee.  My secret is now revealed.  I consume copious quantities of bean squeezings.  Ric comes in a close second.  I think we were cut off at about the 4th or 5th pot. At least we were'nt 86ed for too much laughing.  Look forward to another gathering..

I had a great time as well. These guys have incredible memories about things that happened 50+ years ago, it was a fun walk back iin time. As for John M.'s coffee consumption, I didn't know it was possible for anyone to drink that much and never get up! Thanks John H. for making oit happen, seeing the three of you was a real treat for me and I hope we do it again.  Phil

Greetings women of "68!

We've finalized our lunch plans:

Date: Tuesday, November 15th

Time: 12 Noon

Place: Mali Thai Cuisine, 17310 Southcenter Parkway, Tukwila, 98188.

Slogan: Be there or be square!

If you saw my posting from earlier today you will have noticed that the restaurant has changed.  I drove down there today and found that the originally posted restaurant was not the one I had enjoyed recently and also had low Department of Health ratings.  Mali Thai Cuisine's health rating is "excellent".  It will be fun to see all of you.

L'shalom, Yaela (Georgina)

Another one for our over accomplishing class of '68.  We have war heroes, world travelers, a governor, numerous authors, fire chiefs, state directors, business owners, transportation specialists, military members, elders, deacons, rabbis, ministers a Knight of Spain and finally a Mt. Everest Challenge participant.  A month or so ago our classmate said they were going to attempt the challenge to climbe 29,029 feet in only 36 hours.  That is only 904 trips up to your second floor each day, for four days in a row.

Judy Payne take a bow.  26,250 feet.

Thanks John for your encouragement and for the information about Judy's climb. Wow Judy, that would be super impressive at any age but at our age - outstanding!

Thanks, John, for your kind words.  The 26,250 climb was awful, fun, awful and more.  A good bunch of 250 fellow climbers helped!

I haven't been mingling here lately But, WoW! I agreed, John, a class of accomplished achievers. Congrats, Judy! That is a significant milestone for our age bracket. I've watched just about every Everest movie and documentary. I just get cold watching and have to don a jacket. LoL.

And Doreen, that is an unforgettable journey, an accomplishment much more significant than ourselves opening the door for many.

The Fish Hole adventure and excursion was a great buzz. Good merry vibes. And Yaela, Thai food sounds delicious, and I'd make a surprise appearance but have a UW dentist appointment to work on my chops. Oh, and Lance wanted to get hold of gals mates, but phone numbers were bad.

About Doreen's experience and a wee bit of youngblood Doreen and Dale. -

We never forget the kind-hearted souls they leave a lasting impression. Since it is Veteran's day weekend, I ran across Fold3, a historical military records site associated with the Ancestry site.

The link below shows he wanted and belonged to a particularly special group of comrades. Here, we see Larry the way he wanted to be. Vintage footage. Produced by #ClackCo TV, "The Honor and Sacrifice of Larry Dahl." Till We Meet Again, Rest in Peace. Rest in Peace.

Thank You for showing the Viet Nam wall with Walter Henry's name on it. I knew Walter and am proud to have served in Viet Nam as well.

With Christmas coming soon  -  it is a time to be with and remember family.

Here is a short and fun set of examples from me  -- hope you add to it.

I have been married 52 years. I have two kids.  A 42 year old daughter who has been a teacher for her entire adult life. I also have a 34 year old son who spent 5 years in the Navy as a medic and 4 years as a police officer before going into selling homes. Beween the two of them I have 5 wounderful Grandkids. My wife and I  have been in the same house for 47 years now, not sure if that means we have been really stable and really crazy.

Your turn  ----

What's your schedule input for getting together (depending on numbers) at a🍽🥤☕️restaurant of size sometime in Mid-to-Late MAY?

YES – NO - MAYBE? This headcount is an early–in–flux interest. I will repost it as we get closer to MAY, as we might not be aware, and our schedules will change over time.

PM me your response.

I might be interested in seeing some folks from back in the day. I agree with John; time, date and location. Although I am more open as I am no longer gainfully employed. Please advise for future...
