School Story:
running as fast as I could from the top floor to the basement and ( after winning the race ) running into the wall at the bottom and spraining my ankle so bad that I was on crutches for two weeks. Was worth it-girls carried my books every day! Of course the coach was not happy at all with me. Hey, it was during off season & I did recover in time for cross county my senior year.

Bob Carlisle and I skipping a running workout to go to the girls basketball game at Ballard. When coach Ahern found out, he told Bob he was going to blow up his car.
