70th Birthday Celebration

With sad news, but with a cautious outlook for the health of our FHS Quaker clan we're canceling. The uncertainty of Coronavirus is unprecedented and evolving day by day, so due to an abundance of caution we have to take this avenue. But we have next year to look forward to hanging out together. In these challenging times, please be proactive in taking steps for your health and care of loved ones.

Update for Our

70th Birthday Party

The 50th reunion committee is working hard to pull together a 70th birthday party for the members of our class.  After getting feedback from the committee and everyone who took the Facebook survey, the location chosen is Seward Park.  We are going to be providing the basics of a potluck picnic (burgers, hot dogs, drinks, birthday cake, plates and utensils), and are asking those who come to bring side dishes for a good old fashioned picnic potluck.  There will not be any charge for this event.  At this time, the date is still in flux, as we have to obtain the guaranteed location from Seattle Parks Department.  That won't happen until after the first of January 2020.  So, stay tuned for when we have a for sure guaranteed date and location.  We are hoping to get a mid August, 2020 date, and most likely on a Friday to avoid the parking challenges of the weekend popularity of the park.  Please spread the word, and feel free to contact us by way of this website or the facebook page.
