Thanks John for letting us know.  I sent a note to Micheline's daughter and asked that we be notified when they have her service.  RIP Micheline.

I read the announcement of the passing of Lee Benoun with much sadness. May he Rest In Peace.

I spoke with Lee Benouns sister on the 24th when I was asked about Lee dying, it seems the condolences are premature.

Caterer’s Headcount Preparation for Friday and Saturday making an easier all-around logistics to having fun.  Guarantees a plate.

I can taste the LEMON-grass Poached Shrimp with Carrot and Thai Basil over a lite Shiitake Mushroom glazed Poached Shrimp. Oh so mouthwatering. Darn, I just sampled the last one. We'll have to wait now, till Aug 24th and 25th. See you all there.

Building Community. As of July 26 classmates that are coming to the 50th. Forty-nine years have come and gone and the 50th is upon us. You look so good It's a groovy thing - wild thing you make my heart sing.

Remember, dress comfortably as you may, it's summertime the dress is casual for both Friday and Saturday. Please remember to sign up for Friday. It’s only $5.00 "prepayment," but it helps us on our counts.

We suggest carpooling, if you can, to Marcia Ray’s house on Friday after the basketball game because space is limited at Marcia’s house.

Lastly, we are considering using a professional company to video the Friday basketball game and Saturday night at The Canal!! The cost is $29.95 and possibly lower if we can assure the videographer enough are interested. If you would be interested, please let Steve Condiotty know at srslcon@aol.com or 425-445-4025.

Not to complain, but my last name is spelled Fannan. Thanks

Gregory Colman

I guess I am not the only one with a misspelled last name.  No "E" in Colman.   Never was, never will be.  Happens a lot.  Hope the name tags at reunion get it right.  See you all soon!

Thanks Susan and Greg.  I have alerted the committee to the incorrect spelling of names on the list.  There are several other mistakes as well.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the reunion. I have great memories of my time with many of you not only at Franklin but Sharples and Whitworth too. Have a great time and be safe.  Phil Anderson

Marlene, come to the Saturday night event, too!

Yaela Ettlinger (Yaela Ettlinger)

Yes please Marlene come to Saturday.  It was a little too expensive for me but fortunately there are scholarships.  And it's not going to be formal so no miserable heels or dress that is too tight or whatever.  I'm definitely wearing flip flops!

Classmates - we have lost our Aretha, the songstress of our high school years.  I am glad she's no longer suffering but will miss her horribly.  She taught us so much about respect, being a human being, racial pride, feminism, sexuality, joy, and righteousness.  She was a great humanitarian as well as a fantastic musician.

Sorry to keep bringing this up again.  Last name still not spelled correctly in the attendance list.   COLMAN, no "E" in the middle.

Can I purchase a basketball ticket at the door?  What is the dress code for Saturday?  I'm really getting excited in reconnecting with everyone.  WOW 50years since we graduated!!!!  GO Quakers!!!!

Robert W Talbot

I just spent a few minutes going over the list of fellow graduates and I am also looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up on what they have been up to. It’ll be a blast

08/17/18 06:16 PM #1233

Nancy Raetzloff (Groth)

The dress code is casual.  Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing.  Not 100% sure about Friday night tickets and how to pay.  Ric will have to address that question.

Yaela,

I looked at our 68’ yearbook and didn’t find your photo. Did you go by a different name?

08/18/18 07:28 AM #1235

Susan Fannan (Kaeser)

Gregory, I still have the same issue. 2 n's in the middle of Fannan. I hope they correct them by next Saturday.
