Lawrence and I had a great friendship. I cherish our many GREAT times together and will always keep those memories.

I had the opportunity to meet Lawrence when I was about 11 as he, Dave Azose, Wayne Henry, Tom Rhodes, Jim Eastwood, Rod Kawakami and Dennis Perry played Little League at Lakewood Field for the Police Officers Guild. Lawrence is, as I am sure you could tell, is bottom row center, next to Wayne.

I didn't know him well in High School as many of us had drifted apart.

He was a terrific ball player. That I remember.
