Freida died December 9, 2009 at the age of 60 from cancer.  She lived in Burien, Washington.  She is survived by her son, Ralph Turner Jr., her daughter, Anntoninette Lightfoot and 4 grandchildren.

After raising her children, Freida's career was a baker. She started working at Borracchini's on Rainer Ave., then at the Thriftway store in Renton and ending her career at the Albertson's store in White Center as the Bakery Manager. Freida enjoyed reading, R&B music, action and comedy movies and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
