John,
Thanks for asking. I do sing some Monk, Coltrane, Charlie Parker, a lot of jazz blues and standards, and a few non-jazz classics. The band will be soulful and swingin'.
Come on down. If not this time, send me your email address and I'll put you on my distribution list for future gigs.
Again, thank you for helping me take the bag off my head.
See you at the reunion? I didn't look before I started my reply.

On a lighter note, just so we are all aware that we still have a lot of things in common.

By now most of us suffer from the following cognative impairments.
1. Mild cases of Sometimers Disease.
2. Mild to extreme forms of CRS Syndrome.
(Can't Remember Stuff)
3. Multi forms of the Here-After Condition. Usually
exhibits when one goes from one room to the next.
Almost never fatal but extremely irritating.

After 40 years we still have it going.

John

Thanks for taking the time to communicate with us! It would be great if more of our classmates would use this forum but I can understand one's reluctance as it has taken me a while to get up the courage.

If anyone is thinking of traveling to Australia in the future and venture on to the West, please feel free to give me advanced warning so that I can put out the welcome mat.

Wish I could be with you all at the reunion - have a drink or two for me.

Cheers.

Susan

Cathy Kahn,

In response to your query, on your profile, I am certain that there was a swimming pool on the fourth floor. I bought a book of passes from a senior on the first day of classes in 1965. However I was never able to use them. There never seemed to be a lifeguard on duty. Every year, after our parents passed the levy, I hoped that the school district would hire one. Alas, that never came to pass. I am sure that I still have the tickets as well an elevator pass. That nice senior that sold me the tickets went on to a career in politics. Last I read he was doing time in Leavenworth, Kansas. Something about graft and corruption.
