I was saddened to hear today about Bob's passing.  I've occasionally thought about Bob over the years and wondered where he ended up.  Mitch and I bought a car together from Steve Mansell's brother Gary, in the early Fall of our Junior year...a 1956 Chevy.  It was the first car either of us owned, and in typical, nonsensical high school fashion, we decided not tell our parents about the car.  Bob and I alternated using the car after school and on weekends.  One of my fondest high school memories was when I used the car to give Marcia Ray a very memorable and eventful first driving lesson.  Unfortunately, my parents found out about the car when the liscense tabs arrived in the mail, necessitating a buyout of Bob's 50% share of the car.

In another adventure, Bob and I ended up with a couple tickets to the Beatles concert at the Coliseum in the Summer of '66.  Mitch wanted to scalp the tickets.  He thought we could make a lot money but I talked him into attending thinking it might be a good concert....and the rest is history!

You were always the smart one Mitch.  I'll see you down the road buddy!
